Goals of the organization:

- taking care of the peasants and their families
- establishing an untraditional organization capable of guaranteeing the rights of peasants
- defending the farmers against the ownership law no.96 for the year 92
- disseminating advices and instructions to the peasants regarding the requirements of the agricultural production/taking care of 3 million peasants and their families especially those not enlisted in the syndicate for the agricultural workers (the part-timers)

Important activities conducted in 2001 (name of the activity and its date):

established associations for peasants in their main centers in (kafr el-sheikh, Kalyubia, Dakahlya, Sharkya, Bani Swief, Souhag, Assiut, Ismailia, Alexandria, Damanhour, Shamal El-tahrir, Qena, El-Beheira)


The most important activities on the working agenda for the year 2002:

inviting all peasants and uniting them under the umbrella of the syndicate/convening conferences for peasants in their governorates in order to enlighten them on their rights

Long term enterprises undertaken by the organization:

- organizing a big peasantry conference under the auspices of the syndicate on the occasion of the peasant day
- completing the establishment of the peasantry bonds in the different villages and governorates
- encouraging the peasants to put black signs on their houses as a sign of their protest to the unfair law no. 96 for the year 1992.

Membership in the Arab and International networks: in contact with the peasants associations in the Arab world and working on convincing them of establishing a Arab syndicate for peasants
