The Anti-NATO Balkan Coordination Center [BAN-c] was founded in Thessaloniki in November 2000 as a result of the agreement of organizations from Balkan countries committed in the struggle against the presence of NATO, for Balkans a zone of peace, cooperation and friendship.
The aim of the activities of the center is to inform about the policy of NATO in the region, to promote and support public seminars, conferences, publications, demonstrations, festivals, youth actions and campings, cultural events and solidarity actions promoting anti NATO and anti war goals taken by the Balkan movements as well friendship, mutual understanding and equitable cooperation in the region.
Any Balkan organization, movement, initiative, media or individual sharing the goals of BAN-c, expressed in the "Joint communique" is invited to enrich the initiative.
